Our Background
Citius TransNet Investment Trust (“Citius”) aims to invest in a diversified portfolio of transport sector assets, with a special focus on highway infrastructure. Our objective is to deliver long-term, predictable yield and growth to investors.
Citius is managed by EAAA TransInfra Managers Limited (“ETML”), part of the EAAA Alternatives platform. EAAA India Alternatives Limited is one of India’s leading alternative asset managers, with an AUM of over ₹629 billion.
The initial portfolio of Citius comprises 10 road assets, including 7 toll-based and 3 annuity-based projects, totaling 3400+ lane kilometers.
Sponsor
EPIC TransNet Infrastructure Private Limited (formerly Watrak Infrastructure Private Limited), is jointly held by EAAA-managed/advised funds. The Sponsor has an experience of more than five years in development of projects in the infrastructure sector and has completed two projects. It has in the past constructed and operated a two-lane bridge at Kheda, across the River Watrak on NH-8 in the state of Gujarat on a BOT basis. It operated the project until December 31, 2009. The Sponsor has also entered into engineering, procurement and construction contract/supply and installation agreements with two companies for the construction and development of four rooftop solar projects on a turnkey basis. Two of such solar projects have been completed and commissioned in May 2025.
Project Manager
EPIC TransNet Project Management Private Limited (formerly Chennai-Tada Tollways Ltd.), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sponsor, has proven capabilities as a DBFOT [Design Build Finance Operate and Transfer] –Toll concessionaire.
ETPMPL, along with the holding companies of the initial portfolio assets, leverages the expertise of over 340+ professionals of EAAA platform in asset diligence, management, and operations—supported by technology-driven processes and a robust governance framework.
Investment Manager
EAAA TransInfra Managers Limited (“ETML”) serves as the Investment Manager of the Trust. ETML is part of EAAA India Alternatives Limited (formerly Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors Limited), which has over 15 years of experience in Indian private alternatives.
Trustee
Axis Trustee Services Limited is the Trustee of the Trust. Registered with SEBI under the Debenture Trustee Regulations (Registration No. IND000000494), Axis Trustee is a wholly owned subsidiary of Axis Bank Limited.
Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust (the ‘Trust’) is an Infrastructure Investment Trust (“InvIT”) registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) under SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014. The Trust is registered as an InvIT with registration number IN/InvIT/21-22/0020. The investment of the Trust shall only be in infrastructure special purpose vehicles or holding companies or infrastructure projects or securities of Indian companies in the Indian energy sector in accordance with the InvIT Regulations and the investment strategy as detailed in the placement memorandum
